Rolando is 11
He arrived at the garbage dump when he was five looking for scraps of food. He ended up recycling aluminum for money to eat as his mother washed and ironed for people. He was found without clothing and undernourished during the 2003 outreach and is now a part of the group in Cascabel along with his 2 other brothers.

Erick Estrada is 8
Erick was abandoned when he was a year old. His grandparents took him in but worked at the garbage dump from 6 am to 6pm along with Erick. At their humble house Erick slept on the floor on cardboard. Osiel Estrada

Osiris and Osiel are 8 year old twins.
Their mother arrived at the garbage dump in 2001 to scavenge for metals and plastics to feed her kids. In 2003 they were helped and are now part of the group in Cascabel.

William is 14
Was not at the garbage dump but was abandoned when he was 8 years old. He was found living in a plastic shelter on a small lot. William was eating one rice meal a day and slept on a piece of plastic on the floor. Dario Ovando
Dario Ovando is 17 years old and is one of the artists.
He grew up in the streets without his mother or father's care. He worked at the Somoto garbage dump for $30.00 a month collecting junk for a company. He spent that money with his street friends. In 2004 Dario was invited to  a church meeting with other kids form the dump. He got plugged into Bible studies and gave his heart to the Lord and lives full time in the block shed in Cascabel.
Gelin is 13.
He was brought to the garbage dump at age 4 to help his mother and father collect recyclable items. He spent most of his life there and there were nights that he slept on pieces of cardboard at the dump. His parents rented a small place that had no water or bathroom or beds. Gelin grew up without needed clothing or shoes.
When Gelin was found by A Heart To Love Ministry he was 7 years old and sick with anemia and parasites and not going to school. He is now with us in Cascabel and getting an education. His dad battled alcoholism for a long time and took his life last November by hanging. Today his mother irons and washes clothes. Gelin is one of the artists.
